St. James’ School strives to provide a rich learning environment for children which promotes and supports the spiritual, emotional, social, cognitive and physical needs of the developing young child. We aim to support the growth of each child to his or her fullest potential. Utilizing a balanced educational system of combined curriculums, we focus on following the child and encouraging the exploration of preschool concepts necessary for success in future elementary educational environments.

Our program provides opportunities for each child to grow and learn through a variety of structured activities and free play experiences. Experiences and activities are individualized to meet the needs of each child at his or her own stage of development. The St. James’ School believes that its ultimate purpose is to give young children the finest preparation for life by fostering self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Our Camps provide safe, play-based environments for kids to enjoy friends and have fun in new ways every day. We are offering five camp sessions from 8:30 - 12:00 for children who are walking to 5 years of age. The theme and description for each session is located HERE. The St. James’ School is a five day a week, licensed educational center operating Monday through Friday for children who are within the ages of one year old through children in their pre-kindergarten year of school. A child’s age as of September 1st, will be used for decision of placement into the classroom.  St. James’ School’s mission is to follow each child’s individual needs, adjusting the curriculum and materials so that each child is served to their capacity.

The St. James’ School opens in mid August and closes mid May. Hours of operation are 8:15 am until 12:00 pm with Extended Day options each day until 2:00 pm. Registration options include Two Days per Week (Tuesday and Thursday), Three Days per Week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), or Five Days per Week (Monday through Friday).

We are excited about your interest in St. James’ School, and are eager to share our philosophy and program. We are a vibrant community of engaged learners, talented and caring teachers and devoted families.

Our goal, simply put, is to instill in each child a love of learning, an open mind and a kind heart.

Registration for St. James’ parishioners begins on Monday, January 30, 2023.  Registration applications can be downloaded above from the St. James’ website.  All information for the school can also be accessed from the website.  Please note that community registration will begin on February 13th and enrollment is on a first come basis.
