Worship Rooted in the Past

St James' offers three services on Sundays at 7:30, 8:40, and 11:05 with a Sunday school hour between the 8:40 and 11:05 services.  The church has a robust lay ministry program, which supports the clergy, including acolytes, vergers, chalice bearers and Eucharistic visitors, lectors, and flower and altar guild volunteers. Lay volunteers coordinate scheduling including with scheduling software accessible to acolytes. The music ministry includes both an adult and children’s choir, and is one of the pillars of the church.
