2017 Senior Warden
IRIS ISAACS: I am married to John(30 years) and we have 3 adult children: Becca, Victoria, and Oliver. I have been a member of St. James’ for 25 years. Over those years, I have served on many committees/guilds—planned many events/etc. For the past two years, it has been my pleasure and my honor to serve as your Junior Warden. Working alongside the people of St. James’—loving one another, growing together, and serving together has been a great joy! It is with tremendous excitement and thankfulness that I look forward to the next two years as your Senior Warden.

TOMMY SHEPHERD: I am a partner in the Jackson office of the law firm of Jones Walker LLP. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi in 1980 and graduated from the Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1984. I was confirmed at St. James’ in 1985 and have served two terms on the Vestry. My wife Mary Scott and I both sing in the 8:40 choir. Together, we have two grown sons, Banks and Martin.
ELEANOR ANTHONY: I am married to Kevin, and we have been members of St. James’ for 16 years. We have two grown children, Eleanor and Kevin. I have served as a catechist, a volunteer for vacation bible school, and have worked on Habitat projects. I enjoy the women’s Wednesday morning bible study and Soulworks on Sunday mornings. I am currently a member of the altar guild and flower guild. Kevin and I have loved our time at St. James’, and I am honored to stand for vestry.
LIZA BOOTH: I am married to Bernard-he grew up at St. James’- and we have three wonderful boys: Hess(15 yrs), Sam Wade(11 yrs), and Fletcher(2yrs). From Greenwood, I was raised in the Methodist Church, but Bernard and I were married in Greenwood’s Church of the Nativity—so, we have always been an Episcopal couple! I own a business and work from my home. I assist people with weight loss, energy enhancement, and promote overall healthier lifestyles. At St. James’ I have chaired JAM, co-facilitated an Enneagram class, assisted with confirmation classes, volunteered and sponsored the SunKing, Volunteered for Stewpot, VCS, Shrove Tuesday Celebration, etc. for many years. I enjoy serving on the Early Childhood Committee and am on the planning committee for the upcoming St. James’ School Wine and Cheese Event. Bernard is the Pledge Committee Co-Chair this year and our boys are members of Troop 1. We eat Mrs. Joyce’s church supper most Wednesday evenings. We love being a part of the St. James’ family!
MELISSA HUTCHISON: I am married to Robert and the proud mom of Charley (16) and Forrest (13). We have been members of St. James’ for 12 years, although I began visiting St. James’ while in MBA school at Millsaps in 1996. Forrest was baptized at St. James’, and both Charleyand Forrest were confirmed in the church. Some of my participation at St. James’ includes being a member of the Stewardship Committee, volunteering at Vacation Church School, substituting in the atrium, and serving at Stewpot. I co-chaired the Rummage Sale two years and have been involved every year. This year I was involved in the planning and execution of the Stewpot Summer Camp held at St. James’ in July. I also served as the St. James’ Auction Chairman for the 2015 Habitat Drawdown. I also volunteer with St. James’ boy scout troop, Troop 1, where I assist with keeping the troop records for the 125 scouts. A resident of Fondren, I am a board member of the Fondren Renaissance Foundation. I also serve on the board of the Jackson Friends of the Library Board, and I am an active volunteer at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School where my children attend school. After working for some time in the business consulting field, I have recently embarked on a new career as a realtor with Charlotte Smith Real Estate. I have loved being a part of this church community, and I consider it an honor to be nominated for vestry.
TREY SEBRELL: I grew up in Northeast Jackson and have been a communicant of St. James’ since I was a toddler. I am the son of Tommy and Pat Sebrell. In my younger days, I was confirmed and served as an acolyte at St. James’. I was also a Troop 1 Eagle Scout. After graduating from Ole Miss and John A. Gupton in Nashville, I returned to Jackson. In 2009, I opened Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland. I have previously served on the finance committee and the stewardship committee. My wife, Deborah, and I are cradle Episcopalians and were married in a small ceremony in the Chancel at St. James’ last year. We have participated in pastoral care, Foyer Groups and Stewpot food drives and Christmas angel adoptions. We enjoy Seth’s Sunday class and attend either the 8:40 am or the 11:05 am service.
GUY WILKINS: My wife, Leigh Ann, and I have been members of St. James’ for seven years. We were confirmed together at St. James’ in 2012. I was born and raised in Jackson and returned home after college. We have an 11 year old son, Clayton, who recently completed all levels of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and has now moved into EYC. We also have a four year old daughter, Sally, who is beginning Level One of Catechesis this year. Our time at St. James’ has been a fruitful experience for our family. In addition to spiritual gifts I have received, I have enjoyed the community of St. James’ through meeting parishioners at Foyers groups and serving as an Usher at both Sunday morning services. The Children’s Ministries are particularly important to me and I have been fortunate to volunteer with J.A.M., Vacation Church School, and the Halloween Party. I have also served our Outreach Ministries through volunteering for Habitat for Humanity builds, Sims House, and Stewpot.
